Sheila is a Clinical Social Worker based in Muizenberg in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. She also consults from her rooms in Vredehoek in the city centre. Sheila has many years experience in the mental health profession and specializes in providing help and support to adults and older adolescents.

She is also experienced in meditative, mindfulness and relaxation techniques which can ease stress and anxiety thereby helping clients to cope better and gain more enjoyment from life.

On request, she is able to provide life coaching services.

Additionally, Sheila has Skype capacity for sessions for people outside of Cape Town.

The aim of counselling sessions is to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space in which current difficulties can be shared and different ways of viewing and approaching them can be explored. In this way people are able to connect to inner strengths and gain confidence so that they are able to relate to life in new ways.
